【MACKINAW COAT】
Style:
ヴィンテージのマッキーノコートを参考に製作した「Barnstormer」。元々は寒地での労働着として肉厚のウールメルトンで作られることが一般的でしたが、耐久面や機能面からウールより軽く、丈夫なダックやモールスキンの生地が使われるようになっていきました。ミリタリーコートとしても採用されるほど機能的であり、ダブルブレストでショールカラー部分はアルパカ混のボアになっており、ライニングにはシープシェアリングが全面に付く防寒性にも優れています。ヴィンテージでも珍しいヨーク付きのデザインは本来の補強の意味合いだけでなく、デザインの大きな特徴となっており、縁にはスエードのパイピングを施した贅沢な仕様となります。ポケット口のレザー補強もアクセントとなっています。
Fabric:
撚り杢の糸をドビー織機で織り上げたツイル生地。打ち込みが多くしっかりとしたヘビーオンスの生地になります。ムラ感のある撚り杢の糸をドビー織機で織っているため表情が豊かで風合いのある素材となっています。

Style:
The design of the ‘Barnstormer’ was based on the vintage Mackinaw coat. The Mackinaw coat was generally created with thick wool melton fabric as work wear for those in cold regions, but sturdy duck canvas or moleskin fabrics have been used as well, a more durable, functional, and lighter alternative. The coat is so functional that it has also been used as a military coat. It is double-breasted and the collar is made with a boa made with Alpaca cotton, with sheep shearing used for the inner lining for extra protection against the cold. The yoke design, which is rare for a vintage coat, and the green suede piping not only reinforces the coat, but adds a stylistic element. The pocket openings have also been reinforced with leather.
Fabric:
Made with twill woven with twisted heather gray yarn using a dobby loom. The heavy ounce fabric is extremely solid and is woven with uneven heather gray yarn using a dobby loom, giving the fabric a rich texture.
